The Ballet Program at Posey School is offered to Children, Pre-Teens, Teens, and Adults.

The American Neoclassic Ballet technique is taught in comprehensive and developmental style allowing each student to learn at their own pace.

The children's ballet classes are planned especially to interest young boys and girls in the art of ballet as it is performed today, including both classic and contemporary styles from throughout the world to classical, jazz and contemporary music.

Studies in composition and choreography further improvisational exploration. We offer four levels of classes and placement is by audition.

BALLET PROGRAM - Boys & Girls 8-17 Years of Age
Recommended: 2 classes weekly first year;
2 or 3 classes weekly second and third year of study.
Students are accepted for one class weekly. Beginning level includes modern dance.
Professional Training Program Schedule for serious students ages 12-adult, please inquire.

Ballet I and II

8-11 Years of Age

Mon/Wed/Fri 4:00 to 5:00
and Sat 9:00 to 10:00

Ballet II and III

Ages 9-12

Mon/Wed/Fri 5:00 to 6:15
and Sat 10:00 to 11:15

Ballet III and IV

12- Adult
with prior training.
3-10 classes weekly recommended for professional training. Audition required.

Mon/Wed/Fri 6;15 to 7:45
and Sat 11:15 to 12:45

Pointe

Mon/Wed/Fri 7:45 to 8:00
and Sat 12:45 to 1:15

Adult Ballet
