• 3:00 to 4:00 - Contemporary Ballet - 9 to 12 year olds
• 4:00 to 5:30 - Ballet Class - dancers with previous training Everyone is welcome to attend--open classes!

Tuition is $195 for 3 days ______________________________________________________________________________________________ SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE
Posey School's professional training program for dancers ages 9 and older with previous experience in dance and related arts is well-known and respected by dance educators across the United States. During the summer, dancers attend as many classes in six weeks as they do during an entire school year. They advance their techincal training, knowledge and understanding of dance tremendously. Most of all--they have a lot of fun! Classes include dance technique, composition, improvisation and history. Dancers study classical ballet, modern contemporary dance, several styles of jazz dance and dances from around the world. Classes include pointe and variations (advanced dancers) and lots of dance making. Every Friday there is a dance showcase with choreography by the students and faculty. Tuition is $495 if a dancer only attends one week and is reduced by 10% for each additional week. In other words, the sixth week is 50% less. When many dancers in professional training pay thousands in tuition for summer study, we offer our students reasonable tuition to encourage their study. Classes begin at 12:30 p.m. and last until 5:00 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday for six weeks. First week July 11 to 15
Second week July 18 to 22
Third week July 25 to 29
Fourth week August 1 to 5
Fifth week August 8 to 12
Sixth week August 15 to 19 Dancers may attend one week or every week, as many weeks that their schedules allow. Please phone Posey School to register in advance for this program. We accept dancers with previous training for this program. An audition is required for new students. HOW TO REGISTER
